Brand strategy, copy & web design

You already know your work is good. Your website should make that impossible to miss.

I help business owners show up online with clarity. Brand, words, and website handled by one person, so the right people understand what you do, believe you can help, and reach out.

Work made for names you already know.

Campaigns, brand work, and web experiences built with teams I've led. Alongside the founders, studios, and independent practices whose names you haven't heard yet, and whose work deserves exactly the same care.

What's usually happening

Good work doesn't sell itself. Clear work does.

Most of the business owners I meet aren't struggling because the work isn't good. They're struggling because the website was built fast, or built years ago, or built by someone who never asked what they actually do and who they actually serve.

So the right people land on the site, don't quite see themselves in it, and leave. That's not a marketing problem. It's a clarity problem, and it's fixable.

How I work

Before we design anything, we find what your brand is actually saying.

Design that skips this step is decoration. Everything starts with the same four questions.

01
We find the message
What you're really offering, underneath the service description. Most owners are too close to see it.
02
We get clear on who you serve
Not a demographic. A person with a specific problem, at a specific moment.
03
We write to their experience
Copy that meets them where they are, so they feel seen before they've spoken to you.
04
We build something that feels like you
A site that honors the work. Not a template with your logo dropped into it.

The work

Brands and websites for people who take their work seriously.

Different industries, same through line: the work was already excellent, and the online presence hadn't caught up yet.

"I can't count how many compliments I've received on my website. It finally reflects the quality of my work, and several clients have told me my website is what made them choose to work with me. I couldn't be happier with the result."

About

Hi, I'm Raya.

I studied psychology first, and graduated valedictorian. Then UX, then coding school. I wanted to understand not just how people think, but how they move through a screen, and what makes someone decide within seconds whether to trust what they've found.

Since then I've worked across agencies, leading design teams and running creative on high-visibility campaigns, brand work, and web experiences for names like Jimmy Buffett, Diplo, John McEnroe, Mike Posner, and Jamie Anderson.

What all of it taught me is that beautiful work still fails when the message underneath it isn't clear. That's why I do brand, copy, and design together instead of handing you off between specialists. One person holds the whole idea, so the whole thing holds together.

And the part that hasn't changed since the psychology degree: I'm most interested in the person on the other side of the screen. What they're looking for, what they're afraid of, and what would make them feel like they've finally found the right place.

Working together

A clear path from first call to launch.

You'll know what's happening at every stage, and you'll never be asked to art-direct your own project.

01
Your brand, looked at fresh
Send your current site when you reach out and I'll review it before we talk. In fifteen free minutes you'll know what's working, what's quietly costing you, and what I'd fix first. Yours to keep, no strings.
02
Message, brand & design
We get clear on what you're offering and who it's for. Then I write and design something that sounds like you and speaks directly to the people you want to reach.
03
Launch & beyond
Your site goes live, built to turn visitors into inquiries. You'll get a simple walkthrough so keeping it current is easy, and I'm here whenever you need a hand.

Most projects go from kickoff to launch in about four to six weeks.

The offer

Brand and website, handled end to end.

Most projects come in around $5,000 and cover the whole thing: brand identity, messaging, and a website built to convert. The messaging carries past the site too, so your profiles, your emails, and the way you introduce yourself all sound like one business.

Questions, answered

Wondering about the details?

What kinds of businesses do you work with?
All kinds. Service businesses, practices, studios, consultants, founders with an offer they believe in. The through line isn't the industry, it's the situation: the work is already good, and the online presence hasn't caught up. If that's you, the industry matters less than you'd think.
What's included in a project?
Brand positioning and messaging, copywriting for every page, visual identity, design, and the build itself. Because strategy, words, and design come from one person, your site tells one coherent story instead of three competing ones.
How much does it cost?
Most projects come in around $5,000. That covers brand identity, messaging, and the website itself, built and handed over ready to work. Every project gets scoped before it starts, so you'll have a clear figure in front of you before you decide anything.
Do I need to have my messaging figured out first?
No, and most people don't. Figuring it out together is the first part of the project, and it's often the part clients tell me was worth the whole thing. If you already have clarity, even better, we move faster.
I don't have professional photos.
You don't need them to start. Thoughtful design and the right words carry a site on their own. We'll work with what you have, and if you'd like to refresh your photography, I'll send you a shot list so you capture exactly the right ones.
I'm not tech-savvy. Will I be able to manage it?
Yes. Your site is handed off with a simple walkthrough, so updating a photo, a price, or a paragraph takes minutes rather than a support ticket. And if you'd rather never touch it, I'm here for that too.
How long does it take?
Most projects launch within about four to six weeks of kickoff, depending on how quickly we can gather your content. You'll have a clear timeline before we begin.
