Raya Slavin, website designer for therapists

For therapists in private practice

You give so much to your practice. What if it gave back to you?

A website and online presence built to turn inconsistent inquiries into a full caseload (or a waitlist), so the business you built can finally pour into you, and your family, the way you've poured into it.

"I can't count how many compliments I've received on my website. It finally reflects the quality of my work, and several clients have told me my website is what made them choose to work with me. I couldn't be happier with the result."

Isabelle Tierney, LMFT

The honest truth

You went to school to become a therapist. No one taught you how to run a business.

You're exceptional at the work that matters most. You show up fully for the people across from you, session after session.

But your caseload doesn't always reflect that. Some weeks it's full. Other weeks the calendar sits quiet, and the worry creeps back in: is this sustainable, did I choose wrong, will next month look different.

That's not a failure of your ability as a therapist. It's a gap nobody warned you about. And it's one the right online presence can close.

Most weeks look like this.

The possibility

What if your practice held you, the way you hold your clients?

What if your income were steady enough to plan around (savings, time off, breathing room) instead of something you hold your breath about.

What if you had a predictable system for new clients, instead of a guessing game.

What if the right people understood you, trusted you, and booked before you ever spoke to them.

What if you charged an amount that actually honored the work you do.

None of it is out of reach. It just needs the right foundation.

How it actually works

Your website is one piece of a bigger puzzle.

Your online presence (your website, your Google results, your directory profiles, your social) is what turns a stranger into a client. It's how they discover you, trust you, and finally take the step of reaching out.

And within that puzzle, your website has three jobs: it sets you apart, it helps them choose you, and it makes booking with you feel effortless. When it does all three well, the whole system works.

It sets you apart
Your ideal clients are scrolling through directory profiles that all follow the same template, and you're getting lost in them. But you're not like every other therapist. A site of your own helps the right people see that.
It helps them choose you
Your website speaks to the person struggling on the other side of the screen the way you would if they were sitting in your office. They feel seen, understood, and confident you can help, before you've said a word.
It makes booking easy
Reaching out for help is hard enough. Your site makes it easier: a simple, intuitive path that meets them where they are and gently guides them to your calendar, so getting help feels like the easiest thing they do all day.

Built into every site

So it's not just a promise. Here's what's built into every therapist website I design.

The SEO foundation, done right
  • Keyword research into what your ideal clients are actually typing into Google, so your site speaks their language, in their words.
  • On-page SEO on every page: titles, headings, descriptions, and image tags, all done properly.
  • Fast load times and a mobile-first build, both ranking factors Google rewards.
  • Structured so both Google and AI search can read, understand, and recommend you.
  • A keyword list tailored to your practice, plus a simple system I give to you for publishing keyword-rich articles in minutes, so your visibility keeps compounding over time.
So they book
  • Messaging written to your ideal client, so the right people feel instantly at home, and know they're in the right place.
  • A page flow that guides visitors naturally from first impression to booking.
  • Clear calls-to-action at every point where someone is ready to say yes.
  • A booking path that takes seconds, not a hunt through menus.

And because a promise should be measurable: your site launches with analytics already in place, and at 90 days we review together what's working, and what to refine.

The opportunity in front of you

From inconsistent clients to fully booked, or a waitlist.

Imagine watching consultation requests come in from people who are already eager to work with you, instead of wondering where next month's clients will come from.

Less worry. More relief. A calendar that finally reflects the work you've put in.

And when your online presence finally reflects the quality of your work, raising your rates stops feeling like a risk, and starts feeling like the natural next step.

Raya Slavin, brand strategist and web designer for private practices

About

Hi, I'm Raya.

I was nineteen when a therapist changed the trajectory of my life. I know what it is to be the person searching, scared, and not sure help is out there. And I know what's on the other side of finding the right therapist, because I lived it.

That experience is why I studied the mind before I ever touched design. I graduated valedictorian in Psychology, then became a brand strategist, web designer, and copywriter, leading design teams, running agencies, and building sites for names like Jimmy Buffett, tennis legend John McEnroe, and Grammy-nominated musician Mike Posner. I speak both languages: yours, and the web's.

Here's what I believe. It should be easier for people to get the help they need. Therapists deserve to be poured into the way they pour into everyone else. And the business of running a practice was never taught to you. That's the curriculum's gap, not yours. I'm here to close it.

The work you do changes lives. Mine included. Read my full story →

Questions, answered

Wondering about the details?

What's included in a project?
Brand messaging, copywriting, design, and the build itself: everything your site needs to go from blank page to booking consultations. Because strategy, words, and design come from one person, your site tells one coherent story.
How much does a therapist website cost?
The Fully Booked Website is one flat rate, the same for every project. I'll walk you through it if you decide to move forward after your free Fully Booked Session, so you'll know exactly where you stand before deciding anything. No custom quotes, no hourly billing, no surprises after we start. And worth keeping in mind: one ongoing client is worth thousands over the course of therapy, so a site that brings in even two or three has already paid for itself.
I don't have professional photos.
You don't need them. Thoughtful design and the right words carry a site on their own. We'll start with what you have, and if you'd like to refresh your photos, I'll send you a shot list so you capture exactly the right ones.
I already have a Psychology Today profile. Do I need a website?
Directory profiles help people find you, but they list you beside dozens of other therapists. Your website is the one place online where a potential client sees only you. It's where trust is actually built, and where a browser becomes a booked consultation.
I'm not tech-savvy. Will I be able to manage it?
Yes. Your site is handed off with a simple walkthrough, so updating a photo, a fee, or a paragraph takes minutes, not a support ticket. And if you'd rather never touch it, I'm here for that too.
Will SEO bring me clients right away?
Honestly, no, and anyone who promises that is overpromising. SEO compounds over months as your site earns authority, not weeks. What I deliver on day one is the full foundation done properly: technical SEO, on-page optimization, a keyword list tailored to your practice, and a blog system with a simple way to publish keyword-rich articles in minutes. In the meantime, your site converts the traffic you already have, from directories, referrals, and social.
How long does it take?
Most projects launch within about 4–6 weeks of kickoff, depending on how quickly we can gather your content. You'll have a clear timeline before we begin.
